Umrah Badal (also known as Badal Umrah, Umra Badal, or Proxy Umrah) is one of the legitimate solutions Muslims utilize to delegate performing Umrah rituals to another qualified Muslim for a legitimate reason—such as on behalf of those who are deceased, chronically ill with no hope of a cure, or permanently physically incapacitated due to old age.
A sane, adult Muslim who has already performed Umrah on their own behalf undertakes the sacred rituals—assuming Ihram, Tawaf, Sa'i, and Halq/Taqsir—while dedicating the prayers and intention entirely to the designated beneficiary.

Guidelines & Conditions of Umrah Badal
We strictly adhere to core Islamic jurisprudence (Fiqh) to ensure that the pilgrimage is authenticated, verified, and accepted under Allah's mercy.
The Beneficiary Status: The person for whom Umrah Badal is performed must be a Muslim, and must either be deceased or suffering from a severe, long-term illness or disability that permanently prevents travel.
The Performer Status: The appointed proxy performer must be a sane, practicing Muslim who has already performed Umrah on their own behalf first.
Absolute Intention (Niyyah): The performer's intention must reside solely in performing the Umrah on behalf of the designated beneficiary, explicitly declaring their name during Talbiah at the Miqat boundary.
The rituals of Umrah Badal are identical to a standard Umrah (Ihram, Tawaf, Sa'i, and Halq/Taqsir), with the sole critical difference being the **intention** and **Talbiah**.
